Jason Phelps has been the youth minister at Trinity since September of 2007. He moved to Houston from Iowa where he did his youth ministry internship. Prior to living in Iowa, he went to college in Nebraska, toured with a band in the northern midwest, and was born and raised in Napa, CA.
Jason started Catalyst Youth in 2008 with the hope of creating a community of young Jesus-followers who could change the lives of others with the message of the Gospel; that they would be catalysts to the Houston community. He has had a passion for teenagers since his life was changed in High School, when he began following Jesus. Jason also is the worship leader for Trinity’s 931 worshiping community, who gathers together in Trinity’s gym on Sunday mornings.
When not in the office, you will find Jason at a local coffee shop or riding his scooter. He has a beautiful daughter, Isabella and lives in the Heights.

Ken Rodgers

Ken Rodgers (aka Mr. Kenny or Mr. Rodgers) is a native Texan and has been working in youth ministry since 2000. Ken’s goal is to encourage, equip, and engage youth for Christ. He is the best friend you didn’t know you had and will always greet you with a hug.
Ken also has a passion for good coffee and always makes sure there is plenty of it at 931 on Sunday mornings. He also leads the Summer Sports Camps as well as Trinity School’s Middle School Bible Study and Bible Bowl.

Blake is a core adult leader for High School, leads games at Ignite, and also leads the High School Bible Study on Sunday mornings. He worships at 8:15am.
