Come join us every Wednesday from 5:30 – 7:00pm in the Underground Student Center for the best night of the week as we do a variety of faith-building experiences: studies on life issues and how we go about living by faith, worship, variety of games, and other events that take us out into the city of Houston to learn how to be a witness for Christ everywhere we go.
*Most students that participate in FUEL go on to be confirmed in the 8th grade; however, FUEL is open to any and all students.

CONFIRMATION [During FUEL, See Above]
Confirmation is a specialized ministry program that seeks to help 8th grade students own their faith as they transition away from believing in Christ simply because their parents believe, dig into why Lutherans interpret Scripture the way we do, identify with the overall life and mission of Trinity and the Body of Christ, and provide them with a foundation for a deeper spiritual life.
This specialized class runs throughout the school year and ends on Palm Sunday with the Rite of Confirmation. After Palm Sunday, 8th Graders then move up to High School youth ministry after a fun initiation and welcome.
If you desire to be confirmed, please contact DCE Jason Phelps for more information.
SUNDAY SCHOOL [9:30 - 10:30am, Sundays]
Come join us for Bible study every Sunday morning at 9:30am. Come dig into God’s Word to learn more about our Christian Faith and what God says about real life issues. All classes are on the 2nd Floor.
- 6th Grade: Room 230
- 7th Grade: Room 209
- 8th Grade: Room 212

FOOD PANTRY [9:00am - 12:00pm, Third Saturday of the Month @ Comunidad de Gracia]
Catalyst Youth Ministries is dedicated to a local Hispanic mission called Comunidad de Gracia, which is a mission site of LINC Houston (Lutheran Inter-City Network Coalition). We volunteer the third Saturday of every month from 9am-12pm. This servant event is open to all 6th – 12th grade students and their families.
So what would you do if you showed up? Set up the food for distribution, bag rice and beans, sign people in, and then when it’s all ready you get to actually hand out the food to those who live in the East End of town. You always come away feeling like you actually made a difference!
Click here for a map (6601 Sherman St.) and meet us there at 9am!
